COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Oncology Care is committed to provide education, support and awareness of many types of cancers and blood diseases. Our physicians and clinical specialists are frequent guest speakers in the community and area hospitals. The Oncology Care family is pleased to host an annual Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure™ 5K run/walk at the Rose Bowl for several hundred of their patients, families and friends attending. CLINICAL SPECIALISTS
In order to provide optimal care to our patients, Oncology Care Medical Associates offers the services of Nurse Practitioners and certified Physician Assistants. A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse who has completed advanced nursing and training in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Certified Physician Assistants (PA-C) are licensed health care professionals with postgraduate education and training. NP’s and PA-C’s provide many of the same services as physicians while maintaining a close working relationship with your doctor.
